Chhaava Box Office: Vicky Kaushal And Rashmika Mandanna Starrer’s Mighty Roar Dominates Global BO; Surpasses Rs 550 Cr Milestone In 2 Weeks

Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna’s film Chhaava has achieved a remarkable milestone, becoming the fastest Hindi film of 2025 to surpass the 500 crore mark at the worldwide box office. The film’s success has garnered widespread acclaim, as it continues to perform strongly in theaters.

Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava Surpasses Rs 550 Cr At Worldwide Box Office

As shared on Maddock’s Instagram page, Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna’s period drama has earned Rs 555 crores at the worldwide box office. Directed by Laxman Utekar, Chhaava earned Rs 178.67 crore net in its second week. On Day 14, the film generated Rs 11.67 crore net in India.

Notably, it is the first Indian film of 2025 to cross the 550 crore gross collection mark globally within just 14 days. It makes it the fastest Hindi film to reach this impressive milestone. So far, Chhaava stands as the highest-grossing Indian film of the year. It has earned nearly double the collection of Sankranthiki Vasthunam. It is the second largest Indian grosser of 2025, having amassed over Rs 250 crores at the global box office.

This significant achievement comes after the film was declared tax-free in Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, and Goa. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also praised the historical drama for its depiction of the bravery and valor. For Vicky Kaushal, Chhaava marks his first film to cross the Rs 500 crore threshold worldwide. URI: The Surgical Strike will be his second highest grossing film at Rs 342 crores.

Chhaava is a 2025 Indian Hindi-language historical action film. It is based on the life of Sambhaji Maharaj, the second ruler of the Maratha Empire. The film is an adaptation of the Marathi novel Chhava by Shivaji Sawant. It has been directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan under Maddock Films.
